The Living the Mission Award is given to one Maryhaven employee each month who exhibits living, furthering, promoting and embodying our mission of, Enriching the Lives of People with Special Needs.

John lives the mission in his daily role as an Activities Coordinator. Seeing John work with the individuals will remind anyone why we are here and do what we do. John also exemplifies the Maryhaven mission through his dedicated mentorship and coaching of the "Yaphank Bruisers." His natural ability to foster sportsmanship, positivity, and genuine connection transforms his role into a profound commitment to enriching the lives of those he serves. John's uplifting spirit and unwavering support make him an ideal recipient of the "Living the Mission Award."
